Mark Weber

Mark Weber studied Fine Art and Art History before deciding to become a programming. Failing to convince anyone that a Fine Art degree qualified him for a job in a computer company, Mark ended up with his own business. This started from work placement at Virgin Records, which then lead onto larger projects with the BBC. Atticmedia grew out of Mark’s own attic flat, and by being argumentative with Macromedia at a new media conference ended up meeting PricewaterhouseCoopers that lead to Atticmedia’s first major contract.

After 12 years of running the business, Mark decided to join a larger group - BDP Media Group - that shared in Mark’s love of interactive education and learning. Mark now focuses on developing ideas and approaches for clients, recently spending 2 weeks in Bangladesh to assist BBC World Service Trust develop a language learning approach suitable for both urban and remote rural life in Bangladesh.

Marks love of new media is shared with a love of languages and history.
